Mark Baker, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Mark has been in the hearing health care industry since 2007 and joined our team in 2009. The most rewarding feeling Mark gets is helping people to hear the important things in life, like family members, doctors, employers and even the television. “Seeing a patient’s eyes light up when you place a hearing aid in a patient’s ear for the first time never gets old.”
Mark specializes in complete hearing evaluations, aural rehabilitation, hearing instrument fitting, and family counseling on hearing loss. He embraces our new “connected” hearing aids and loves helping his patients utilize the benefits of our newest technology. With a complete hearing consult and diagnostic evaluation, an informed patient can take the correct action for bettering their hearing health.

Emmersen Toone, HIS-T
Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee
Hello, my name is Emmersen Toone and I am presently a Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee with SoundPoint Hearing Centers. I was born and raised in a suburb outside of Toronto, Canada and in 2015 moved to Gilbert, Arizona which I now call home. Most recently, I spent 4 years in Boise, Idaho as a student and in Spring of 2022 graduated Cum Laude from Boise State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology; Exercise Science as well as a minor in Psychology Sciences.
A passion to serve others has always been at the heart of everything I do. To be in the position of a Hearing Instrument Specialist where I have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for a patient is what fostered the journey for me to get into the profession, along with the unique perspective of having family members in the industry. I am expected to be fully licensed within a year which would be Summer of 2023.
As I grew up a competitive dancer and continued throughout my college years, when I am not at the office you can call me Coach Emmersen. I have a varsity pom team at a local high school in Gilbert and also enjoy spending quality time with friends and family.
